Sample Answer:

The two rendered horizontal line graphs represent employment in the Republic of Freedonia based on gender in various sectors of employment in the years 1975 and 1995. The data has been calibrated in terms of numbers.

Overall, it is clear that people of both genders working in the non-defense public sector had the highest number. Whereas, the defense public sector had the lowest number of male as well as female employees in both the given years.

It is evident from the given data, that during the year 1975, the majority of men predominantly occupied all the job sectors in Freedonia as compared to women. However, the scenario changed in 1995 as in two sectors namely communications and wholesale and retail trade, women were actively recruited and their number surpassed that of males.

Getting into more detail, interestingly, in 1995 the count of men and women employees in finance or banking was approximately the same accounting for nearly 500,000. In the case of manufacturing, in the year 1975, the number of female and male workers constituted to be 300,000 and 600,000 respectively. Surprisingly, this trend remained unchanged even after two decades.
