The rendered bar graph depicts the information about the number of hours spent per week on unpaid work by married men and women according to the number of offspring they had. The data has been calibrated in numbers.
Overall, it is noticeable that in the case of all three categories, married women spend significantly more hours involved in doing unpaid work such as household chores, gardening, and taking care of children in comparison to their male counterparts.
It is crystal clear from the given data, that married men did not illustrate any considerable variations in all the three given cases of being without children, having 1-2 children, and bearing more than 3 children and the value was documented to be just below 20 hours. Surprisingly, married women with more children invested more time doing unpaid tasks.
Moving further, it is observed that the number of hours married women with three or more children spent working without money was two times in comparison to women without offspring and the values were recorded to be 30 hours and 60 hours respectively.
